Chef Britt's culinary journey began in the tropical paradise of Hawaii, where her fascination with flavors and ingredients took root. She pursued a major in Culinary Studies and graduated in 2014, launching her into a global culinary adventure. Her travels took her across Japan, France, Korea, Italy, UAE, and many other countries, each destination adding a unique flair to her culinary repertoire. Chef Britt's diverse experiences shape her approach to ingredients and flavors, ensuring that each bite at Mouthfeel is a masterpiece of international inspiration. Her dedication to using only the finest, freshest ingredients and her meticulous attention to detail guarantee a experience that is both exceptional and unforgettable.
Chef Colon brings a rich heritage and diverse experiences to Mouthfeel. Having Ecuadorian roots and a background in the Army National Guard, his culinary journey is marked by discipline and creativity. With mentorships from Michelin-star chefs and leadership roles in several top-tier venues among South Beach hotspots, stadiums, and Disney, Chef Colon has honed a diverse skill set. His expertise spans from sushi and menu development to culinary experimentation in lab environments and Culinary Science positions. Fulfilling leadership roles as Executive Chef and Culinary Consultant in a laboratory setting highlight his dedication to excellence. At Mouthfeel, Colon's innovative spirit and commitment to quality are evident in everything he does.
Mouthfeel was born from the shared vision of Britt and Colon, who met while catering. Their profound connection, both in the kitchen and in life, led to their marriage and the creation of Mouthfeel in November 2023. With over 28 years of combined culinary experience, they set out to redefine catering by focusing on quality, creativity, and sustainability.
We have revolutionized the catering industry by eliminating traditional buffet lines and hot food. Instead, we offer luxurious hors d'oeuvres, grand grazing tables, and bite-sized desserts, all meticulously crafted from scratch using only the freshest, locally sourced, and sustainable ingredients. We never use frozen, fried, or premade items, ensuring that our food is always of the highest quality.
